Yellow Banks Recovery Center
Yellow Banks Recovery Center, located in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Yellow Banks Recovery Center, is located in Owensboro, Kentucky. The center is one of Addiction Recovery Care’s most state-of-the-art facilities.
One of ARC’s newest facilities, Yellow Banks will eventually serve 300 women healing from the disease of addiction. It is operated and managed by its own staff, and has its own peers, and culture, bringing about camaraderie, safety, and trust, further instilling the peer-to-peer recovery model.
When visiting the Yellow Banks Campus, you will notice the community-like atmosphere because of the highly structured programming. Clients walk to recovery classes and groups by themselves. Women will have the opportunity to further their education and earn work-ready certification.
At ARC, we consider clients who have been with us for a significant period of time a reflection of our comprehensive program and leaders. As they progress through the program, women earn more privileges and time to themselves as their recovery journey continues. Yellow Banks will not serve Phase 1 clients until later in the year.
Addiction Recovery Care’s treatment program is holistic with CARF-accredited clinical programs, medical services directed by an addictionologist, a spiritual-centered approach that includes the 12 steps and chaplaincy care, and a broadening scope of vocational training opportunities for clients. At ARC, we are leading the way when it comes to combining drug treatment and vocational training that results in second-chance employment. ARC’s Crisis to Career approach allows those suffering from substance use disorders to re-enter the workforce and live nourishing lives.
