In recognition of his ongoing efforts to serve individuals and families impacted by the addiction crisis, Wayne Sartin, Addiction Recovery Care Vice President of Client Access, received the 2023 Recovery Community Commitment Award at the second annual Micheal T. White Recover Boldly Awards.
Sartin’s peers nominated him because of his commitment to the recovery community in Louisville. He joined ARC in 2019 as a lifelong champion of underserved populations with a career in health services spanning twenty-five-plus years. Sartin leads ARC’s ongoing efforts to improve access to care through his leadership of the client intake, community outreach, and transportation teams.
“I am so thankful that ARC allowed me the opportunity to create a team of people who can provide treatment on demand,” said Sartin. “This team has allowed me to connect people in my community to world-class treatment. Although I received the award, our incredible team continues to impact lives in Louisville and throughout Kentucky.”
The Micheal T. White Recover Boldly Awards is in memory of Mr. White’s work to impact lives and is the primary fundraiser for Seeds of New Leaf, which serves the Jefferson County area, breaking down barriers to treatment.
